Introducing our new line of Tapered Internal Implants, engineered for long-term esthetic results. The Tapered Internal features the proprietary Laser-Lok microchannels and patented reverse buttress threads on an anatomically tapered implant body. The proven internal hex connection gives dentists access to a comprehensive line of restorative products to address a wide variety of indications.
Tapered Internal implants feature the patented reverse buttress thread design and the unique Laser-Lok microchannel surface treatmeat.
The intuitive layout of the Surgical Kit makes following the surgical sequence a snap. The Surgical Kit includes innovative tapered drills with markings for supracrestal and crestal implant placement.
The implants are anatomically tapered to mirror root formations. The patented 8 and 12 micron Laser-Lok channels have been shown to attach and retain both and hard and soft tissue.
Patented reverse buttress threads have a wide, flat leading edge for increased surgace area and improved axial load distribution. |
Anatomically tapered design and pre-mounted abutment form an outstanding combination for early and immediate load. |
8 and 12 micron Laser-Lok microchannels allow for cellular level attachment. |

Tapered Internal implants come with the pre-mounted esthetic 3inOne Abutment at no extra cost. This innovative component serves first as the surgical drive mount, then as an impression component, and finally as final abutment.
Besides the cost savings of not having to purchase a separate abutment, the 3inOne can be used to index the implant the day of placement. This allows the lab to prepare the abutment in advance of the next patient visit, dramatically cutting chairtime, and thereby increasing office production and patient satisfaction.
Included 3inOne™ Abutment lowers overhead and increases productivity. Esthetic margin and natural taper minimize preparation. |
Secure connection ensured by 1.5mm internal hex, lead-in bevel and Spiralock screw technology. |
Implants and prosthetics are color-code matched for failsafe component mating. |
Simple Solution protocols on BioHorizons Internal and Tapered Implants allow clinicians to provide their patients with cement-retained restorations in a minimal number of office visits. The pre-tapered abutments are designed to be restored without additional modification, and come in heights of 4.0mm and 5.5mm. The transmucosal collar portion is available in heights of 0.8mm, 1.8mm and 2.8mm to accommodate variable tissue thickness.
After the impression has been made, patients can wear a tooth-colored Healing Cap over the abutment while the laboratory fabricates the final prosthesis. Acrylic can be added to the Healing Cap as needed to help create a more natural provisional.

Crown margins finish on the beveled shoulder of Internal Simple Solutions Abutments (Fig. A). This means collar height selection (0.8mm / 1.8mm / 2.8mm) will determine the crown margin position. This differs from other cement-retained restorations where the crown margin typically finishes on an abutment margin (Fig. B). In those cases, the abutment is selected or modified in the laboratory to position the margin as desired.
